Hello everyone! My name is Melissa Barge, I am the owner and chef at Sweet Smarts and have been in the baking industry for 20 years. I received my degree in international baking & pastry from Florida Culinary Arts Institute in 2003. While in school, I trained at Jack Nicklaus' "The Bears Club." After school I went to work at a wholesale bakery called, "Sweet Endings." From there I went on to help open up "Christy's NY Cheesecake." My work has also been noted in the Palm Beach Industry.
